The Directorate of Field Publicity is one of the Media Units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is engaged in the task of publicising and gathering Feedback on various programmes and policies of the Government through its network of 22 Regional Offices and 207 Field Publicity Units.
DFP plays a vital role of two-way communication with the people at large and provides very fruitful and authentic feedback from the grassroots level on the policies and programmes to the Government of India.
Web-Enabled online feedback and reporting software system enables DFP’s 22 Regional offices to file their Feedback format, Success Stories, Monthly Performance Report, Monthly Highlighted Report, Theme-wise Statistical Report, Actual Tour Programme, Tentative Tour Programme, Vehicle Details etc. and send the same to the HQs. online through internet. The HQs. In turn can view /generate cumulative reports to be submitted to the Ministry.
It gives a boost to the efforts of DFP by reducing redundancy and easing compilation of grassroots level data.
